Inclusive audio
for every workplace
Give each listener control over volume, speech clarity, EQ, and dynamic range. Hearably can support an accessibility program, but it is not a captioning service or a compliance certification.
One audio mix does not fit everyone
Listening needs vary by person, device, content, and environment. Hearably gives users practical controls they can adjust without changing the source content for everyone else.
maximum Pro gain range, with peak limiting to reduce clipping
EQ bands for shaping speech, music, and difficult recordings
real-time DSP runs on the user's device, not an audio server
Assistive listening controls
Voice Clarity
Presence-focused EQ and compression can make quiet or masked speech easier to follow on supported browser tabs.
Voice Boost (800%)
Amplify quiet sources up to 8x. A look-ahead limiter reduces digital clipping, while users remain in control of safe listening levels.
Flexible EQ
A 10-band equalizer lets users shape frequencies for their content, device, and listening preference. Hearably is not a hearing aid or medical device.
Noise Reduction
Reduce background noise that masks speech. Particularly effective for users with hearing loss, where noise makes comprehension disproportionately harder.
Privacy-First Processing
Real-time DSP runs in the browser through the Web Audio API. Captured tab audio is not uploaded or recorded by Hearably.
Browser Deployment
Deploy the Chrome or Edge extension through your normal browser-management process. Test approved websites and policies before organization-wide rollout.
Use it as one part of an accessibility program
Hearably provides user-controlled audio enhancement. It does not generate release-ready live captions and does not by itself establish compliance with any law or standard.
ADA Title III
Audio enhancement may be useful as an individualized accommodation. Your accessibility and legal teams should determine what effective communication requires in each context.
WCAG 2.1 Level AA
Hearably can give a user additional audio controls, but it does not replace author-provided controls or satisfy live-caption requirements. Evaluate the complete product and content experience.
BITV 2.0
BITV assessments cover the complete digital service. Hearably may assist individual listening, but no standalone compliance claim is made.
EN 301 549
EN 301 549 evaluation applies to the full ICT product or service. Hearably should be tested as an optional user tool within that broader evaluation.
Section 508
Section 508 conformance requires formal evaluation of the relevant ICT. Hearably does not provide a VPAT or independent conformance certification today.
EAA (EU 2025)
Organizations should obtain qualified advice for products in scope. Hearably is an assistive listening control, not an EAA compliance package.
Privacy is not a tradeoff
Hearably's real-time audio enhancement is processed locally in the browser.
No Audio Upload
Captured tab audio used for real-time DSP is not sent to Hearably's servers.
No Recording
Audio is processed in real time and immediately discarded. Nothing is stored or logged.
No Audio API Required
The extension's DSP does not require a cloud speech or audio-processing API.
Documented Privacy
Review the privacy policy and extension permissions as part of your security and data-protection assessment.
Built for accessibility teams
HR & Compliance Officers
Evaluate Hearably as an optional assistive listening tool alongside the organization's existing accommodation process.
Accessibility Officers
Test volume, EQ, keyboard access, supported sites, and policy fit. Keep captioning and formal conformance work in the broader accessibility program.
Disability Services (Education)
Pilot the extension with students who benefit from additional gain or speech-focused EQ, while preserving institution-provided captions and accommodations.
IT Departments
Pilot on managed Chrome or Edge devices, validate required permissions and supported sites, then deploy through existing browser-management controls.
Make your organization accessible
Pilot local audio enhancement with your team and evaluate it within your existing accessibility, security, and procurement processes.
